Comex 3 - 50th Anniversary Reunion.

This is a preliminary note to announce a planned Comex 3 Reunion on Saturday 12th October 2019. It will be open to all participants of Comex 3, their families and others linked to Comex. (The date has been chosen because Comex 3 returned from Zeebrugge to Dover on 8th October 1969.)

The venue will be the Conference facilities at the London Wetlands Centre, which is a nature reserve run by the Wildlife and Wetlands Trust, in Barnes in West London.

At this stage we want to develop a list of potential participants.

The event is being organised by Alan Denney (Newcastle contingent) and John Covell (Kent contingent). Please email if you are interested.

The Green Pennant Awards, identifying the spirit of adventure with crossing the barriers that divide people and embodying in their symbolism the oldest and largest democracies in the world and the African continent, were inaugurated by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in London on 18 December 1980, and followed by similar ceremonies in New Delhi and Lusaka.
