Restaurant Ionian Blue
"Brexit: pro-EU parties to use European elections as 'soft referendum'"
Patras did not seem a particularly nice place to stay as we got off the ferry so we headed south down the coast 50 km to a much recommended "camp site".
Strictly speaking the place we are parked at is probably not a "camp site" (38.045680 21.318870). However it is free to stay, has electricity (€2 a night) water, a toilet dump and several other vans are parked here. What it does have is good restaurant and charismatic manager/chef who welcomes motorhome visitors enthusiastically. Eating in the restaurant is optional but highly recommended. Our meal cost €24 per head with more excellent Greek food than we could eat and half a bottle of good wine each. Probably the price is over the top (but the camping is free.)
In the sunshine the beach is very attractive (though it has to be said the buildings are a bit run down - but hey its free!
