Although there do not appear to be any UK companies that specialize in converting Unimogs into campervans (as there are in Holland) the companies listed below will build a suitable body shell on a flat bed Unimog for others to convert into a campervan.
There appear to be three main alternatives for body construction. Aluminum panels on a custom built aluminum and steel frame, GRP foam sandwich panels (approximately 30mm thick) with aluminum extrusions used at the corners and GRP faced plywood panels (10-18mm thick) also with aluminum extrusions used at the corners.
