It's complicated finding and buying a used expedition campervan, there are many pitfalls for the unwary. Particularly if, like me, you want to buy a vehicle from Germany and you don't speak German.

So far I have been looking for an expedition campervan for nearly a year, I have been to Germany four times and looked at six vehicles in detail. Some of them were definitely not as described (particularly their weight). Some had more "interesting" histories than you might like.
