Waterfalls and the Perils of Drink.

Iceland is famous for its waterfalls, and there are lots to choose from. This one is at Skógar (N63.52956 W19.51226) and is imaginatively called Skógafoss.

Nearby is the remarkable Skógasfan (Skógar Museum) with everything from belt buckles and cars to a complete school buildings. Very well worth a visit.

The school house (originally built at Litli-Hvammur, Myrdalur, in 1901) was moved and reconstructed at Skógasfan in 1999. The single class room is complete with morally uplifting illustrations...
