We are off!

We left our home just outside Milton Keynes on the 2003-05-13 heading north towards Scotland.

Our first stop was to visit a couple of other "overlanders" with strange Mog-like vehicles to discuss the possibility of traveling together in Africa in 2004.

Our second stop was in Peru where we went llama trekking in the dense forests above the ancient town of Helmsley with a knowledgable local guide calling herself "Anne Stewart".
